Our story
At the end of 2020, we ourselves moved into our renovated house in the Leliestraat in Zedelgem. What we did not know is that we came to live in a beautiful piece of nature in the Kerkebeek valley, the blue vein through the Houtland. Foxes, deer, buzzards, woodpeckers, herons, kingfishers, squirrels, jays, owls, frogs we hear or see them almost daily....
In late 2022, we got the chance, from our then neighbours, to buy their house.
Herman and Anna wanted to live closer to their grandchildren in Bruges in the late summer of their lives. They knew about our holiday home dream and they gave us the privilege of buying the house. As a thank-you, we promised to christen the holiday home Hanna, combination of the names of these gritty octogenarians, Herman and Anna.
In October 2023, we opened Holiday home Hanna and welcomed Anna and Herman together with their children and grandchildren as our first guests.
